66 Mystery Chevelle
I am going to try and win my Senior award this summer., so I was just curious about the judging. I mean, will the judges being judging my car from scratch or do they use my scores from my Junior win as a guideline of some sort? Does that make sense?
Mike
66 Mystery Chevelle
Thanks John
Richmond might see quite a show in that 66 class....Hershey saw something like a 10 way tie for 1st place Junior.
Mike
Guest John W. Harvey
Mike,
The judges will not use your past scores. In fact, they will not even have access to them the day of the show. They will start with a clean judging sheet that YOU will be given in the registration packet received at the show.
Your car will be judged based on its merits that given day. You will still need to meet all the minimum score requirments as outlined in the judges manual.
C. SENIOR CATEGORY
1. AACA Senior vehicles are eligible to win only one Senior trophy, commonly called the Duryea trophy. The vehicle must have the highest score in the class with a minimum score of 375 to win this SENIOR award. Any other vehicle scoring within 10 points of the highest score and above 375 will also be awarded a SENIOR award. Senior vehicles compete only with other Senior vehicles.
Good luck
John
[ 05-13-2002: Message edited by: harveyj ]
[ 05-13-2002: Message edited by: harveyj ]
