jac
The Richey Region joined in the Fourth of July celebration at our local mall with a display of antique cars and trucks. We invited Don Garlits to sign autographs and enter in the car discussions. During the day a family that is in the process of moving to the Richey Region area pulled in with '42 GMC military '42 duce and a half and a '44 Willys jeep with gun mount I might add. They requested to have their vechles judge at our Oct. 14 car show. What class do I put them in , 22b, 22c, or 20f?
later-jac
Rick Hoover
jac,
My best guess would be that the '44 Willys Jeep goes in Class 22c (Commerical / under 1 ton - 1943 to 1975).
The duce and half goes in Class 22e (Commerical / 1 ton and over - 1928 through 1942)
I don't believe either would look proper parked beside my old '40 Chevy Coupe in Class 20f.
Hope I'm right!
Rick
ronbarn
All military vehicles (excluding staff cars) are classified as trucks, inclunding the jeep. Put them in Class 22.
