Guest
I have a 66 GS convt. with an unoriginal motor in it. I am wanting to eventually show this car. Are there still opportunities for me even though this car is now and will end up being pretty far from original. What type of class could this car compete in? ronbarn
The answer depends on where you intend to compete. In most local shows (depending on where you live) there are modified classes for cars as you describe your Buick. However at this time there are no modified classes at AACA National Meets. Our primary criteria is to judge a car as it was received by the dealer from the factory. Modifications call for deductions and an extensively modified car has little chance of winning an AACA National Award.
