Guest Posted July 1, 2002 Posted July 1, 2002 I live in New Jersey and I just bought a 48 Pontiac silverstreak, and I was wondering how to get infromation on this car. The car is in pretty good shape but the wiring in dry rotted pretty bad. Also as I drive the gauge needles go back and forth. If anyone can help I really appreciate it thank you
Ron Green Posted July 1, 2002 Posted July 1, 2002 You will find help though the AACA with the 40's Pontiac and lots of general information and restoration tips however you may also want to join a Pontiac club to get specific details on your car.
The Pontiac Oakland International Club would be a good place to start. It cost $25 a year and you will recieve the monthly magazine "Smoke Signals) that has lots of good articles and a section for parts for sale and wanted including NOS. Try there website at www.poci.org for starters, and good luck!
Guest Posted July 2, 2002 Posted July 2, 2002 thanks Ron I took your advice and joined the club yesterday, thanks again
