Guest Posted August 8, 2000 Share Posted August 8, 2000 I've got a '57 buick special.<P>body is in pretty good shape ( some minimal surface rust, no side pieces on the rear bumper )<P>interior is pretty much a loss. ( seat frames are ok, dash is reasonable, no carpet, no headliner, no interior door panels )<P>piston #5 grenaded. heads look ok. cylinder wall for number five is scarred in an area about two inches square from the piston fragments. I think that it could be rebored without a problem, possibly just rehoned, i'm not real sure...<P><BR>what would a fair price be to sell this car for?<P>thanks for your input.<P><BR>A Meek Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's value will also vary greatly depending on body type. If we're talking about a sedan or wagon it's not going to even approach the value (and the rebuild potential) of a convertible or coupe. <P>If you can post more information, especially photos, you'll get a much better response.
