1931 Model 70 Commander - Dash Color ??

Recommended Posts

Finally getting to the painting stage on the restoration of my Commander Sedan. Were the dash panels painted body color, or painted with a simulated wood grain? I have seen both ways at car shows.

I found this person http://www.ucuap.com/PPWoodgraining.html who does the woodgraining and said he had the correct color and woodgraining pattern information for most antique automobiles. I have a 1931 Studebaker Six Model 54 and I was looking for the same thing including the window trim wood graining. Worth checking out if you are still needing your dash woodgrained.
