Guest dbedio81
My boyfriend purchased this at an antique shop and we are trying to get information on what make of car this could be from. Also a time period if possible. There is a 6 p stamped on the back side. That's the only markings we could find. We thought it might be early jaguar, but are unable to find anything like it upon searching the internet.
CarlLaFong
I don't think it's a hood ornament, but even if it is, it is aftermarket. Not original to any car. Hope you didn't give a lot for it
Guest dbedio81
Got a fairly good deal on it. Just wish I could find more information on it.

It doesn't look automotive related. To me it looks like more of a handle from something like a cane or walking stick or possibly a door knocker. Guest AlCapone
I also do not believe it is automobile or truck related. I am glad you bought cheap as you will likely keep it as a conversation piece. Not worth much but cute to keep!Wayne
Curti
Looks to be a casting that was to be a part of a bookend.
