This carb was original equipment for all the 1936 Chevys This carb was taken off my own 1934 Chevy to replace it with an original for 1934. My car ran fine with this carb. Dave39MD Posted March 24, 2015 Share Posted March 24, 2015 A 30 Chevy, if original, would have a carter updraft carb. Chevy switched to downdraft in 32 so a 36 would not work if you have an updraft manifold.Dave Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
