Smile
It was great to see the cars driven, but can anyone confirm some of the chat? For example, it was estimated that some 285 Stutz cars still exist. Indeed, the 1996 STuTZ Club book, the Splendid Stutz, counts some 285 cars held by members, but it also adds up another 16 non-member vehicles, to give a total of 301 known cars. Since it was published, the Miller collection was 'discovered'. That's another 30 cars, or potential cars. On top of that, cars still emerge, like this: http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/dealer/stutz/m/1606443.htmlIs anyone brave enough to throw out a new estimated number?I'll happily kick the ball first: 350. Mind you, I'm kicking it with my eyes closed. Anyone?
alsancle
I think the Miller Stutz collection was pretty well known. But 350 is probably not a bad guess.
JohnBoyle
There are two unknown to the club Stutzes in the Spokane area.I wouldn't be too surprised if the total population is close to double what club membership is. Remember there are some in museums and with non-club owners.
V.Milke
I saw the video last night. Thanks for posting the link! It is great to see these cars, but much better to see them running. Both examples are splendid!victor
