KYTim
Can loose stitching be repaired on the Headliner are must the entire Headliner be replaced. Overall in good shape & would like to keep original. I've shopped around & have found many sources for complete replacement. Tim
Seafoam65
You should be able to have the pleats resewn if you can remove it from the car withoutdamaging it. Any good upholstery shop should be able to resew it for you.
KYTim
Thanks for your reply. When Spring arrives I'll drive to local shop to see what they can offer!Tim
lrlforfun
OK Tim: My suggestion would to be to get a new headliner and sail panels from a local shop. I am not trying to spend your money. Fixing 50 year old vinyl ? You'd be back at page #1 sooner than later. Mitch
RivNut
The vinyl, if not stained is probably in good shape. Have the upholstery shop replace the cotton sheaths and restitch it and it should last for another 50 years. Only the cotton thread and sheaths deteriorate.Ed

MitchGood advice, if you need to invest in R and R labor to make the repair it doesnt make sense not to use new material Tom
