Guest Joshhirst13
Does anybody know what #'s I can give to NAPA or other parts stores for the oil pan & transmission pan gaskets. I know I can order them online from certain places, but I was hoping to be able to just go down to the store & pick them up. Of course like everyone always talks about. If it's not in their computer it doesn't exist. Thanks
buick5563
If you go to a real auto parts store like Napa, Carquest, A-line, they will be able to tell you what part you need from a book. BUT, it will have to come from their warehouse in Kentucky or some other BFE location which will take longer than if you just ordered it from www.rockauto.com which is where I would buy gaskets. 60FlatTop
A sheet of cork and a 4 oz. ball peen hammer can make a pretty good one. I even think there may be a few thermostat housing gaskets made from cereal boxes out there.Bernie
