waltmail
Fixed it. Way to easy. Unplugged the connector to the pressure switch, blew on it ( probably no effect )reseated it and the ABS motor fired up. Voila. Back to normal.
Barney Eaton
Was there any moisture on the pressure switch connection? Moisture indicates the switch seal is allowing brake fluid into the switch and needed to be replaced (the switch needs replacing, the seal is not replaceable)You might want to unplug all the connectors associated with the ABS and spray them with contact cleaner...... some have probably not been moved in 25 years. Dry as a bone. I hardly drive this vehicle. Do start it daily. In fact it is not currently registered as I am attempting to sell it. Thanks for the suggestion.Know anyone in the market for an '89?
waltmail
Turns out it is the relay. Sticky. Flick it with a finer and it works. I will replace it.
