1938 Buick special coupe

Recommended Posts

Not really familiar with these types of fourms. But I have a 1938 Buick special coupe. I would say the condition is 7 out of 10. It has the original window sticker and all the original documents when the car was first purchased. The car was purchased new by my great aunt in 1938. And have documents showing all this. It's never been owned by anyone other than 2 people in my family. There is absolutely no rust or body damage and has the original paint. Just trying to find out some info on what something like this is worth.

Location: Las Vegas, NV

Condition: original paint I would say 5/10 (original paint)

No dents

No rust

miles: 27,500

it runs fine don't have pictures at the moment. It's black in color.

New carpet, besides that no tears or rips in the upholstrey

just trying to figure out some kind of value for it.

Ryan, check the data tag on the firewall passenger side and give us all the info you see there. From that we can tell for sure what model you have, and maybe ball park a value. Pictures are most helpful, and if you can't figure out how to post, send me a Private Message by clicking on my screen name and send me an e-mail. I will reply with my e-mail address and you can send photos to me to post for you.

It's worth $500, and I'll kindly take it off your hands! Seriously, any model coupe is considered a preferred body style, and the '38's are exceptional cars. There should be a rubber floor mat in the front rather than carpeting. If it runs well and your evaluation isn't overly rosy, it's worth, at minimum, $10,000, maybe considerably more. The fact that it's a one-family car won't matter to most buyers, and with a car that old, certainly not any guarantee of condition. Let's see some pics!
