Guest Ryansbuick
Not really familiar with these types of fourms. But I have a 1938 Buick special coupe. I would say the condition is 7 out of 10. It has the original window sticker and all the original documents when the car was first purchased. The car was purchased new by my great aunt in 1938. And have documents showing all this. It's never been owned by anyone other than 2 people in my family. There is absolutely no rust or body damage and has the original paint. Just trying to find out some info on what something like this is worth.

Rusty_OToole
You should be able to get an Old Cars Price Guide at any bookstore or magazine store. It will have your car in it. I would tell you what mine says but the newest one I have is more than a year old.
Pomeroy41144
Exactly. Check the price guides. And go on line as if YOU were the buyer and try and find as many for sale 1938 Buick Coupes that you can. Then you can get a good range of what people are asking for. Also, call a reputable antique auto appraiser.
Rusty_OToole
Funny thing about the price guide. When I look up a car I want to buy the price is always too high but when I look up one I want to sell the price is too low. So they aren't totally accurate. I guess that is why they call it a "guide" not a "commandment".
