Guest cplcuddles
I don't know if this is the correct place to do this, but I found this old ford stereo. I can't find anything about it, I'm also not sure the year it's from. It appears to be in pretty good condition, I think, Any help is appreciated. I could not attach the pictures, it said they were too large. I uploaded them on Puush, links are below. Guest cplcuddles
REALLY old Ford radios, I think, would say PhilcoIt looks similar to a Philco, but it doesn't say Philco anywhere like the others do. I'm curious whether it has actual value, It has original knobs and everything. Not sure if it actually works though.
keiser31
Looks like about a 1976.
Guest my3buicks
A basic AM radio of that vintage has little value.
keiser31
A basic AM radio of that vintage has little value.Unless you are restoring a car that was ordered with that radio style.
rocketraider
To narrow it down going by preset buttons I'm guessing 74-78 Mustang II, and possibly 79-later Mustang. Possibly trucks too. Ford divested Philco in 1974.

keiser31
From what I see as I Google "1976 Ford radio", quite a few years had those knobs.
Harold
The part number begins with 'D8' so it's a 1978 radio. I Googled the part number from the sticker and didn't get any definitive results, except that a few of them have been sold on eBay for $15.00 or less. Dave Mellor NJ
D8 is 78 as stated. I think the A denotes full size. These AM radios were all over the countryside back when people bought a new car and immediately installed custom stereo systems. If anybody were restoring that era car they wouldn't settle for a plain jane radio.
28 Chrysler
Hate to say it but it is a mono not a stereo. It is the bottom end radio, it is hard to sell them even for $5.
