RoadsterRich Posted February 11, 2002 Posted February 11, 2002 I have been told that many older FelPro gaskets and seals are still available through parts stores. I have tried several of our older local parts places, they all seem to think they can get the parts. Problem is the part numbers I have don't seem to cross reference with the newer part numbers. Is there a good source for getting these numbers cross referenced?
Thanks,
Rich
Guest stude8 Posted February 11, 2002 Posted February 11, 2002 Rich:
Are you looking for gaskets or seals? If it is gaskets look at "http://www.federal-mogul.com/felpro/index.html" and click on electronic catalog. If it is seals like wheel seals I'd try CR (Chicago Rawhide) in Elgin, IL for applications. You can save a lot of time on older applications with the "Old Car Bearing" guy in Southern Pines, NC. He is easy to work with, has lots of old stuff and prices are fair. Look him up in Hemmings. I a hurry? He even ships before he gets your check. John S.
