Please remember that museum and private collector accessions sometimes change and just because it's part of the collection doesn't mean it's on public display. It could be on loan, in storage, or being repaired somewhere else. Call before you attempt to visit to make sure they are open to the public, open the day you are able to visit, etc. Some public museums are closed 40 weeks per year. Some of the above aren't open to the public.

There may be more than this...we need everyone's help to find out. Certainly there are a few more privately-held collections encompassing each of the Three Ps.

There are probably 50 collections that would have all 3 of the "Three Ps" if they were to add a Peerless, but Packards and Pierce-Arrows are so much easier to find. Examples: the Stan Reynolds Collection(Reynolds-Alberta Museum), AB; the Harold LeMay Collection(America's Car Museum), WA; the Harold Warp Collection(Pioneer Village Museum), NE; the AACA Museum, PA; the Bill Harrah Collection(National Automobile Museum) in Reno, NV; the Clive Cussler Collection, CO; the Gilmore Car Museum, MI; and the Forney Museum of Transportation, CO.

The museum in Sacramento, California Automobile Museum, had all three the last time I was there, a couple years ago....early Pierce and Peerless, later Packard....

I'm happy to hear of your interest in joining the Three-P "fraternity". What do you think of the Peerless Runabout coming up at the Florida auction March 12th? I noticed today they've gotten the online catalog descriptions finished for everything, including the Peerless. Might be overshadowed by the 1903 Thomas, an American Underslung, 2 Bentleys, a 1930 Cord Murphy Town Car, a Stutz DV-32, Marlene Dietrich's Rolls-Royce and a number of exotic cars.

Maybe not your cup of tea, but they took some stunning photos of the motorcar for the catalog.

a) Recently deleted 3 of the 18 on the list

1. The collector in Ontario, Canada because he sold his Pierce-Arrow Silver Arrow. He may still have his 1931 Peerless Eight Sport Coupe.
2. Don Boulton passed away last fall and Bonhams auctioned his collection off in March. He had a 1904.
3. Frank Spain died in 2006, the Tupelo Auto Museum in Mississippi closed and Bonhams auctioned all 180 cars off in April. They had a 1914.

b) Hopefully, Kirk gave some thought to picking up an "aught-four" Model 8, or a 1914 Model 48-Six if he hasn't found a Peerless yet
