Does anyone know of any car clubs taking a RT. 66 tour or route. I will be leaving from the Missouri area.Thanks for reading and hopefully replying. JACK M Posted February 3, 2015 Share Posted February 3, 2015 When I made that drive I had a guy with me that bought a couple of books and we took several side trips that he read about that were worth while.The big thing is to not be in a big hurry, I don't think I would want to go with a group. Guest papaw Posted February 4, 2015 Share Posted February 4, 2015 There is a group that does the route 66 tour each year. Last year was the first year and I joined them at the start in Joliet IL. The same group does a old US27 tour in Michigan each year and it is fantastic. Last year they had nearly 800 cars. Well organized and planned.
