A 1929 Peerless 6-61 5-Pass. Sedan is on ebay for about 5 more days. It's not that a hundred people from the AACA Forums are going to bid on it, but the seller put up 3 relatively well-done youtube videos of the car(40-sec, 4-min. and 5-min.) including the owner taking it for a spin, so a hundred people might want to take a virtual test drive without having to travel all the way to New York. Peerless has 39,991 miles.

The reserve was met and it sold for $22,900.

This Peerless was nice, but the e-Bay presentation wasn't done by an amateur. It had 3 videos and 10 or 20 still photos, showing a flawless exterior, a good original mohair interior, and you could see and hear the engine running.

I remember some guy trying to sell a Duesenberg on e-Bay a few years ago. His photographs were a real tour-de-force: two crumby cell-phone pictures, poor lighting, and you could barely tell if it was a sedan or a coupe. I didn't see how the auction turned out, but when I looked it seemed that it had stalled at about forty grand.
