Guest Posted November 20, 2001 Posted November 20, 2001 I currently have a radiator cap with a thermometer that doesn't work. I guess that it has mercury in it as the red fluid has gone to the top of the scale. Does anyone have any experience with these and know where they can be repaired?<P>Thanks
Guest Posted March 27, 2003 Posted March 27, 2003 I presume that you are talking about a Boyce Moto Meter. They had the manufacturers logo/emblem in the main body part, bevelled glass, and from the drivers seat you could see the thermometer. There is a company in USA that sells parts, (new) so that you can replace what is not up to standard.Complete motometer: junior $48.95 senior $89.95 Available in chrome and brass.Repair kits (2 beveled lenses, 2 gaskets, 8 screws in brass or stainless) senior $19.95 junior $14.95Thermometers senior only $39.95 (junior size not available)Dials only senior $19.95 junior $15.00Email address is: restoration@rsc.reno.nv.usRegardsKen Australia
