Guest JonFordLover
I'M HELPING A FRIEND DETERMINE THE VALUE OF AN OLD CHEVY NOVA. I'M NOT SURE ON THE STATUS OF THE MOTOR. SHE IS INTERESTED IN SELLING IT, BUT DOESN'T KNOW WHAT IS A FAIR SELLING PRICE. IT HAS BEEN SITTING FOR A LONG TIME. ANY INPUT OR SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED. alsancle
If it is a 6 banger column auto then scrap value. If it is a 396 4 speed car then 7-10k.

rhb1999
A 396 COPO Nova would have the chrome hood inserts, and possibly "396" above the front marker lights, BUT this is a 2-door and of the most popular years, 1968-72.
62BillT
If it were in my neighborhood, I would be willing to pay about $100 over Scrap, even if a 6-Cylinder, Auto. Anything better, Engine and Trans wise, would add some value accordingly.Bill
