Hudsy Wudsy
Here's a link to a Craigslist ad for a '48 or later Dodge route van for sale by someone in eastern Montana. Remember, Montana almost always always means great sheet metal:http://montana.craigslist.org/cto/4806727291.html
jpage
This type of vehicle always seems to interest folks and bring back memories of a bygone time. I had a friend who had a beautifully restored Divco milk truck complete with the markings of a local dairy. He had more interest in that little truck at shows than almost any other vehicles there. He would even dress in a milkman's uniform and pass out drinks donated by the dairy. Only drawback with these vehicles is that they are too slow to drive safely today. 30DodgePanel
They bring decent money at the auctions I've been to even without the running gear. I sure miss those days...
Hudsy Wudsy
I'm sure that you're 100% right about slow. Even though the Dodges had six cylinder engines, rather than Divco's four, they probably both had rear ends geared for creeping down alleys. The Divcos are cute, too, but the Dodge grill on the snub nose front end is delightful, isn't it?
