alsancle
Auburn was a mid priced car. Lots of variables to your question. Speed was dependent on body style. Speedsters were much faster than 4 door sedans.
Rusty_OToole
Auburn offered 4 eight cylinder models that year. Standard and Deluxe, on 126 or 137 inch wheelbase frames. All 4 were powered by the same 268 cu in, 100 HP flathead straight eight. They were great value for money, starting at under $1000 and going up to between $1500 and $2000.Top speed 80 - 90 depending on model. A light weight, short wheelbase roadster would be faster than a long wheelbase heavy sedan.
