alsancle
48 dodge 2 door sedan?
keiser31
Not a 1948 Dodge. The upper rear corner of the driver's door is pointed, not rounded like on the 1948 Dodge. It is a club coupe, not a two door sedan.

Steve_Mack_CT
Gents - 1946 Plymouth coupe looks like a match? (This is from the web, but the back end of the German Shep in the foreground looks like one of ours..)
keiser31
The hood threw me for a loop on that one. The Dodge hood lifts from the sides. The Plymouth hood is the clamshell type. It looked different, but I see that it is definitely a Plymouth.
Curti
1946 - 1947 - 1948 How can you tell the difference ?
keiser31
1946 - 1947 - 1948 How can you tell the difference ?The only real exterior difference was the wheel size. 1948 went to 15" wheels. You cannot tell whether it is a 1946, '47 or '48 from the photo.
AndyC
What amazed me abut the picture is that all the windows appear to be intact.
Curti
I figured you would have an answer John. Didn't they run the 48 body style into mid year 49 too ?
