auburnseeker
I'm looking for a wood header bow for a 1936 Chrysler convertible. 2 or 4 door are the same. I believe all 1935-1937 Dodge Chrysler Plymouth Desoto cars may have used the same header bow. I would love to buy a nice one but one suitable for a pattern would be great as well. williegeno
Thanks for the info on the hub caps. I could use four but I really need just one. Let me know if you run across any or if you might be interested in a solid 1936 Business Coupe once you sell your convertible.
auburnseeker
I'm still looking for a header bow and will gladly buy a new one if someone has one all made or wants to make one rather than loan out a pattern. A very detailed set of drawings would also suffice. Someone has to have something out their. If you had a shop make you a new one at some point, I would be glad to hire them to make one for me if they still had a pattern. I can't believe this bow is that rare. Restorer32
What series is the Packard top assembly you have? 120 or other?
Ric Dean
.. I bought it about 45 yrs ago; sorry all I remember is that it had side mounts with covers and Packard Emblems. The guy was junking it and taking it apart with a torch; in fact the top assy has part of the ¼ Panels still attached.

I had some extra sets cast with the wing set screws when I had ones cast for my car.
Restorer32
If you could post a pic of the Packard assembly you have we can likely identify it exactly. We have been restoring Packard top assemblies for many years.

auburnseeker
I need to come up with a header bow for my car. Short of creating one from scratch which may still happen, I have the car sold if I can come up with even a pattern bow. I'll offer a reward for anyone that can put me in the direction to get the bow.
