rocketraider
Not clear if it still had a stickshift, but a heartwarming story. Especially since the car was still in the hands of its original family.http://www.wral.com/family-grants-woman-s-wish-to-drive-37-ford-again/14249281/My Aunt Rene came to the 1995 Olds Club national meet in Greensboro NC to see what kind of show her nephew had put together, and kind owners let her and my Uncle Edd sit behind the wheel of both a 1937 Olds (their first Oldsmobile) and a 1953 Ninety Eight (their third). She said even then (at age 70) that sitting behind those steering wheels brought back a lot of good memories, as I'm sure the Ford did for Mrs. Blasingame. plymouthcranbrook
Great story. And one of the few times I won't crab about a modern engine in an older car.
