nzcarnerd
Whoever built it was heavily influenced by the styling of De Dion-Bouton. I think it is American and looks to have been quite expensive. Note the seats with the best leather used for the backs. Probably not later than 1904. I am trying to decide whether that is a drive chain I can see under the back or a axle support rod of some sort.
