Vanishing Numbers on 1939 Sedan

Hi Guys

So the re assembly of my 1939 sedan is continuing at the workshop. The dash has been wood grained . There is a heap of photos in my gallery folder. However when they washed the instrument glass in some warm water all the numbers for the dash gauges washed away:(. This was just in water no soap or solvent!! Does anyone have a contact or a file for the transfer so we can replace the speedometer and other gauge numbers on the glass. It appears that in the 1939 the numbers were printed directly or screen printed onto the glass. I have looked at Bobs Automobilia on line catalog and they have replacements for a lot of years except 1939.

I attach some photos here of the wood gaining on the dash as well.

My wife is an accountant but these numbers have her beat !!!

Cheers and thanks for the help

Andrew

A couple of glasses that I've bought over the years. Check what the glass looks like before you buy it. Not a fan of the second version.
