add noise to dir-lite

I have a 1991 Chevrolet wagon. I cant see the direction signal lights in the daylight and sometimes they remain on, Is there any way to add a buzzer to this system so that I can hear it instead of not seeing it. Thank you in advance.<P>------------------<BR>c.sanders

Your turn signal flasher should already be making a clicking noise, indicating that the turn signal is on. If it is not making noise, I'd replace it first. that should make it where you can hear it. If that isn't loud enough you can go to a place like Radio Shack and buy a 12 buzzer and splice the power wire for it into your turn signal wiring AFTER the flasher (with a test light, the light will blink instead of remaining steady). I'd try replacing the flasher unit first.

There are flasher units that have a loud click. Just look in a Wagner or Signal Stat catalog. I'll bet few aprts counter guys know they are sold. <P>The above posters buzzer ad is a good idea. I'd get a seat belt/key buzzer from a salvage car.
