[TD=width: 50%]A gorgeous 3 position drop head coupe in striking colors, providing the option either an open car for summer touring or of a closed car with the luxury of wind up windows for cooler weather enjoyment.

With its current owner of 42 years, GEN70 underwent a cosmetic restoration: paint, upholstery and a new top approximately 10 years ago. Driven very little since, GEN70 has been recently re-commissioned and serviced, never having been shown, or seen by the public. Originally sold April 23rd, 1929 to Col. John Kennedy of 5 Radnor Place through The Car Market Limited, GEN70 was delivered as a Sedanca De Ville with coachwork by Thrupp and Maberly Limited. In 1937 GEN70 was purchased by The Southern Motor Company and re-bodied with their attractive 3-position drop-head coupe. GEN70 was then purchased by Mr. Noel Rylands Mellor Esq. on September 27th, 1937, and remained in his ownership until 1948. Full history to present day is fully recored through it’s Registration book, as well as various documentation from the previous owner including: British Military Registration and title as well as it’s Louisiana title and registration when it was exported to the U.S. in 1970.

Included in the sale, are the original build sheets from Rolls-Royce and documentation from The Southern Motor Company noting the body swap. We also have a photograph of GEN 70 with its original Thrupp and Maberly coachwork and two photographs of GEN 70 with its Southern Motor Co. coachwork (exact date unknown). All documentation can be emailed if it is of interest, please contact me directly for the files to simplify the process.

Asking $125,000.00 USD or near offer.
