There are two colors listed for 41 Chevys, Admiral Green and Ridge Green. THe car itself is a dark green but we're not sure which green this is. Also, where can you find the paint, our local body man is having trouble locating it. Thanks.

Actually there is a third green called Cimarron Green Metallic, Comb. # 303 which is a very pale gray / green but used mostly on two tone colors.
In trying to help, I can only tell you that Ridge Green Metallic # 288 is a very dark green and almost looks black when inside a garage. Admiral Green Metallic # 296 is more a medium grey / green. Check your body ID plate for color numbers.
As for locating the paint. Have your fellow try a PPG Ditzler dealer or Martin Seniour usally located at NAPA auto parts stores. Both are good with old formulas. If you still are having a problem come back on here, let me know where you're from and I'll help you.
Hope this helped,
Rick

A friend of mine just got all the paint and interior information he needed for his '53 Ford from the AACA Library. Send them your serial and paint numbers, could be they can get you on the right track without guess work.
