Guest
I have just found a 1916 V8 Cadillac for restoration. Can anyone tell me how to remove the plate on the top of the engine that carries the valve lifters....does the camshaft have to be in a particular position to be able to lift this part? I am also looking to buy some new valves, Pistons and a Distributor cap, any ideas would be much appreciated. Thanks, Dave.

Guest
For valves, pistons, etc. check out Egge in Santa Fe Springs, CA. They have or can make excellent parts for most any car and have a good reputation. Distributor cap may be tougher, but check out Special Interest Auto in Ardmore, OK. Also look at Hemmings.
