Guest Posted April 2, 2000 Posted April 2, 2000 Would any antique car buff take a stab at
identifying the type of vehicle my grandfather is standing in circa 1905 in Devil's Lake, ND. If so I'll e-mail a jpeg photo about 25K in size.
Thanks very much, C.A. Evans

ThomasBorchers Posted April 5, 2000 Posted April 5, 2000 Here comes the picture:

Chris' uncle means a Thomas-Detroit?. What about a 1911 Thomas or a 1909 Oldsmobile? Who knows more?
------------------
Thomas Borchers
Member of AACA # 004829
HCCA and MAFCA
ronbarn Posted April 5, 2000 Posted April 5, 2000 Could be a Thomas, but the oval radiator badge makes me lean to 1909-10 Oldsmobile. The flare on the front fenders and the shape of the rear fenders narrows the options.
