gebo
Hello,Is it so that this car has no shock absorbers. The blows are intercepted only with the leaf springs? Can anyone answer this question?Thank you.
zeke01
My 1928 Chrysler 72 had the clock spring type shock absorbers . The brand name of the shocks were Hassler. Basically there is a spring inside a canister which attaches to the frame and body dampening the shock. It is better than nothing, but not very efficient either. HarryJ
Here are some pics of the snubbers you are referring to. I had the aluminum tags for the units reproduced.

lozrocks
Thank you for the answers, but how is the ride?Without shocks, the ride is fine as long as you stay under 15mph. Over that the ride becomes a little hairy. Especially a sedan, your back seat passengers will get seasick.I've got a 1929 75 that I have modified with telescopic shocks. Now that's a fine ride! but not original.
