Guest jasonnross
Hey folks,I found an old rusted up bumper in the dirt on my property probably from the logging days here. I've done a lot of research scouring the web for the same emblem on the bumper, to no avail. I'm hoping with some of your experience, you can help me determine what it is. The curiosity is killing me. Thank you!

Guest jasonnross
That was pretty much the #1 suspicion I had too from looking at lots of 20s and 30s emblems but none of them are like this exactly. Thanks

Dandy Dave
Weed. So this is an after market accessory bumper. Makes sense as many early cars did not have bumpers originally. Dandy Dave!

Dave Henderson
The bumper was made by American Chain Company of Bridgeport, Ct., who used "Weed" as a brand name.Google the company name and you will find advertizing showing the triangular logo.
