1953 Ford F-100 Pickup, Deluxe Cab, V-8

I recently acquired the Ford truck mentioned above. It is in HPOF condition except for the wheels.<BR>Although I picked up paint chips and some original literature at Hershey last month, I still have not been able to verify the correct color for the wheels.<BR>During my search I have found finished trucks with black, body color, ivory, and argent (silver that matches the truck's grille) colored wheels.<BR>Could someone help me with the correct color or options please.

Hope you don't mind a "Hip Shot" at this, but you have one of my favorites. <BR> I only remember wheels painted body color, except for special orders and fleet units.<BR>I have seen restored and older repaints with Medium Cream colored wheels on basic Red or Green, ect. bodys. ( Looks great with wide whites.) But it is your mention of the matching Argent Silver to your grill that threw me. I only knew of the grills being painted Cream.
