Third Set of Bumpers to ID

Recommended Posts

Final set of Bumpers to ID:

This set includes bumper numbers 4, 6 & 7. The #7's are the ones that are the L-shaped chrome pieces. I have 3 pairs of them and one spare (there may be a mate to it somewhere).

#4 pictures are of the bumper that have additional end pieces that are to be bolted on to it. I do not believe I have those end pieces. There are three pics that belong to the other two bumpers that I could not get to. They are stacked underneath of all these bumpers. I have 3 pictures of their ends but not the full bumpers. Good luck figuring them out. Thanks for any help you all can throw my way.

The bumper/s with 4 ribs on either side of the license plate location, looks like a rear bumper for 1958 Cadillac Series 60 Special.

Thank you!! Any idea what I should ask for these? Most are in very good condition, with very little pitting. any rust is on the backside and can be easily cleaned and prepped. They all are very nice bumpers.

Please don't take this wrong, I mean it constructively. I see too many bumpers in one post, makes me glaze over. I suggest one bumper with various views in a single post.

If not Cadillac, than 1958 Oldsmobile.

There's definitely value among these bumpers. It's true re-chroming can be expensive, but these bumpers look straight, possibly unused and require less labor to re-plate if needed. Used bumpers that are dent repaired, replated often don't look right on an otherwise top restoration.

Corner pieces for surviving 1950's behemoths are often rotted through in certain parts of USA & are therefore in demand.

The 1954 Cadillac rear piece I id'd? I'd ask $300 for if it's as good as it looks in pic.

I hope that's encouraging, but I have to say I agree with Curti to some extent. Some of the photos shouldn't "make the cut".

I totally agree Curti. I haven't posted on here in a while and posted them 'inline' I guess and it certainly needed to be broken into separate posts. Learn by my mistakes, for sure. Thanks, I can take constructive criticism. These are all dentless, straight and none of them have the pitting that you would expect to see. My dad had possibly had them re-chromed I believe but they have been sitting for a while so this is the result of over ten years of not being maintained in a pristine condition. I will give the potential buyer what I have and if he isn't interested I will post them here and on E-Bay within the week. Thank you all SO MUCH. I need the money so I am going to price them as reasonably as I can and hope they move well.

I haven't been on here for a while so I thought I would 'bump' these back up and see if anyone is interested. There are three posts with a large selection of bumpers available and a few more available that are not pictured. My husband was in a head-on accident last year and ended up in a coma for a while. I am selling this whole lot of bumpers and more parts to raise money to move to a different home. We are in rough shape financially but blessed in every other way possible. Jim is improving weekly and we are just happy that he survived!

So-anyone interested in the whole shebang gets the best and fastest deal. These are priced to move and I mean MOVE...you can email me at docdans(at)yahoodotcom

thanks & good to be back!
