Guest
A friend has asked me to list a Peerless winterfront unit for sale. Medallion is in excellent condition, unit has LIGHT surface rust on engine side, front is still really nice. Louvres are all free and move, all springs are there, it appears to have a thermostat as well. OK here's the deal. I'd rather not screw around with finding a digital camera and doing the posting thing on EBAY, but will in one week unless I get a decent, HONEST/FAIR offer that doesn't treat me like stupid by then. If interested, write back or email me at bbutler@epix.net, and I'll run out to the garage and take dimesions, etc.
Guest
REALLY looked at the unit tonight. It is a Pineswinter unit, with a PEERLESS medallion on the top, meaning (I guess) that it is made specifically for a Peerless. The data plate lists four patent dates, October 1914 through (can't remember month) 1920.<P>I went through it thoroughly, shot PB Blaster on all the junctions, spring, shutters, etc etc.
