Guest
I have a 1984 Limited Edition, Olympic, Buick Century. I would like to find some general information on these including number produced, colors, purpose of edition, etc.
Guest
In summer of '84, my old man ordered and purchased a new '85 Park Avenue. The only reason I mention this at all is because I distinctly remember oval shaped stickers in the rear door stationary glass that read "BUICK - Proud Sponsor of the Olympic Games" along with the Olympic rings. Other than this, I know of nothing else "Olympic" about it!
Derek

------------------
1968 "Canadian" Pontiac Beaumont
1988 Buick LeSabre T-Type
Guest
My 1985 Regal that I bought brand new had the Olympic logos as well. I think it was just because Buick sponsored the 1984 Olympics and was trying to get as much play as they could.
beerczar1976
The 89 Buick Regal Custom I had when in HS in '94 was also an Olympic edition. Not ever really sure what made it that per second other than plastic gold colored stick-on Olympic ring/USA emblems on the qtr panels.

60FlatTop
It was a 16 year old car at the time, invisible to a "true" collector. 36 years old now and begging for recognition. Lots more attrition before that happens.
