Guest DaveAikins
Hi everyone! I had posted this car in a sale thread about a year ago, but decided to hang on to it and see if I could fix some of the minor things that were wrong with it (like the heater and wiper motor). Thankfully, I was able to get the parts needed so I'm very happy to list this again for sale. I have to say, it was really fun working on this with a good friend of mine who knows his way around a car. Sadly, I still have to try to say goodbye and sell it. I just don't have the time to enjoy it, and waaay too many other hobbies!Anyway, it's a 1960 Buick Lesabre 4 door hard-top. It has approximately 78,000 mies on it, and is located in Columbus Ohio (43081). The exterior looks pretty good, with some bubbling/rust on the lower edges of the sides, and signs of an old restoration spot on the passenger side near the front door. The interior carpet and seat upholstery really need to be restored, but the interior is still fine for driving around town. As for some of my remaining "to do" list on it- The parking brake works, but could use a good tightening to the cable. There is also a slight ATF drip.Other than that, I don't tend to drive it that much but it starts up and drives around town just fine! I'm asking $5000 for it, but I'm more than willing to discuss any serious offers.I have the title as well as the Preliminary Chassis Service Manual and the larger Chasis Service Manual. If anyone is interested and would like more info and more pictures, please email me at daikins@columbus.rr.com Edited July 6, 2014 by DaveAikins (see edit history)
