1937-44
Doreen I know it is a lot of work, but I think you are doing a wonderful job and service to the hobby. Thank You. The radio is a 1937 Buick. The 1938 had a round dial. Glad it isn't being scrapped. They aren't rare but definitely are getting harder to find. Carl
Harold
Guessing maybe a flare for a truck The fender fits 1950-1952 Plymouth. To be correct for 1950 model the trim holes need to be about 3/4" higher than the '51-52. Judging by the trim and paint color, this fender came from a '51 Plymouth. As Packard ads used to say....ask the man who owns one!

Guest Doreen
A right fender, no part number, there is a hole on the top of the fender maybe for an antenna...I don't get why they edged the fender in light blue paint because there is damage under the head lamp...any ideas? Thanks boys

Guest Doreen
For a front grille?? (taking a wild guess) no part number..thanks
auburnseeker
Ok you've stumped me so far with this installment. The fender has a Ford or Chrysler look to it from about 1952-1955. Looks very similar to the 55 Chrysler but there is a seam under the headlight in those,. That seems to be the same issue with Ford products as they had a seam under the headlight dividing the park light hole. I don't see one in your photos. I think I'm close though. Just Ford or Chrysler Not desoto Mercury or any of the other divisions, still working on the bumpers. It's hard to tell if it's (the one with ribs) for the front or rear. I can't tell if the holes in the center of the sides of the license plate recess are for lights or if they are bumper bolt holes.

Bleach
The fender has a Ford or Chrysler look to it from about 1952-1955. Not from any Ford, Mercury or Lincoln of that era.
Larry W
#127 may be shown upside down. I believe it may be from the front of a '53 Mercury.

auburnseeker
I don't know how I missed the 53 merc bumper. I think because I was thinking rear bumper. Could you post a picture of the fender taken from the front where the park light is so we can see how it aligns with the headlight hole? That might help.
Larry W
#126 could be '55 or '56 DeSoto. The small hole under the headlight may not be for a directional.

Dave Mellor NJ
The closest match to the fender is 55-56 Dodge. The DeSoto has too much trim which would require holes. It also has a bigger grille opening. The Dodge is plainer but it still has a small piece of trim coming across the crown at the back.

Dave Mellor NJ
The Plain Jane 53 Ford might still be in play for that fender except it, too, has too big of a grille opening.
auburnseeker
The fender had a pretty wide fender molding that ran full length so 56 Dodge is out as well as 1955.It looks an awful lot like a 1952 Ford especially if you look at the shadow of the old trim. auburnseeker
The quarter looks like a 1957 Buick 2 door hardtop. The left rear door looks like a 53 Ford. The front door looks to possibly be Ford of the 52-54 Vintage. The crossmember didn't match the ones I could find on Vettes. It does have a GM look to it. Dave Mellor NJ
The Mainline V8 only has the V8 emblem. Customline and Crestline have a horizontal chrome spear which would need holes.

Larry W
Well, it's got the Plymouth, Dodge, Chrysler, DeSoto initials, so it's from a Chrysler product prior to 1961. Looks like from the forties or early fifties. Edited June 30, 2014 by Larry W Typo (see edit history)
Bleach
1951 Plymouth. It would have been painted to match the dash color.
auburnseeker
The Deluxe moldings in the back of the truck are for front fender on a 51 Chevy I believe. The little tail fin is for a 1948 Cadillac. It may fit a few years either way. The black box looks like a Mopar heater box from the late 40's or early 1950s. That's about all I can come up with right now. Dave Mellor NJ
My money's on 51 Ford for those doors.
Dave Mellor NJ
Here are the moldings Auburnseeker ID'd. That box looks more like a radio than a heater.
auburnseeker
I thought heater because it looks like the remnants of a seal on the end facing the camera. There is an accessory grille or trunk guard partially wrapped laying down as well. Not enough to determine what it is. It may only be part of the kit. It has a similar look to the one on my 48 Plymouth.
Guest Doreen
thanks guys I will post pics of the stuff on the truck..I only posted that to show I do have a light at the end of the parts tunnel! So I'm a little confused on the part that I thought might have been a radio cover or something on a dash. Larry W is that the part you are referring to with the initials? and does anyone know what it is for?
Guest Doreen
seeker....is this the 48 cadi tail fin you saw on the pick-up? It does look like it was cut off a large piece of sheet metalthanks DoreenOh and the black box on the pick up was posted earlier and I was told it was a radio for a 37 buick...not sure how that got back of truck
