Guest
Has anyone wiewing this site ever heard of a truck manufacturer named Beck? From the vehicle design it appears that Beck may have been a wagon manufacturer who converted from horses to gasoline engines. While the truck is complete it is missing an engine which appears to have been an opposed cylinder design.
Guest BruceW
Frank,
I suggest you contact the AACA Library and Research Center. They have an emormous amount of literature on many makes of vehickles including the rare and rarer. When I was researching a vehicle made in our county in the early 1900s, the AACA L&RC was able to supply valuable information on the vehicle even tho no one I talked to in the county, nor even the town it was built in knew anything about it.
The AACA L&RC contact info is as follows:
AACA Library and Research Center
501 West Governor Road
P.O. Box 417
Hershey, Pennsylvania 17033
Phone (717) 534-2082
Good luck Frank
[This message has been edited by BruceW (edited 09-13-2000).]
