That colour is stunning.

And the Riv. almost fits in a modern parking space.

Cal.

Cal,

Yes we love the color too.

At 215", this is a long car to park.

Can’t get over that color!

Maravilloso

Thanks. It definitely caught my eye when I spotted it on Craigslist! We get lots of "thumbs-up" when we drive around town.

...and this was my weekend...
My first ride this year.
Had to bring my old lady to the shop. Drag link has too much play and  the wheel bearings have to be changed.

Buick Club of NSW - pre-war run.

Hi all, thought i would post some photos from last weekends run to the wine region of Mudgee, located 180 miles north west of Sydney. We had 16 cars attend with about 33 people and had a fabulous time winding our way on the back roads, visiting wineries and country towns along the way.DSC04715.thumb.JPG.2dc797a3982e5079457a312c5f9bd05f.JPG

I drove the '39 convertible sedan to church Sunday, and I drove the 41 Roadmaster sedan to the shop yesterday to get a faulty new tire replaced.  The company had replaced it for $20

I see that you are paying approx. the same price for gas as we are.

Currently we are paying $1.41.9 a liter.

Looks like a great bunch of Buicks and crowd to travel with.

Cal.

That's what I paid for premium this week. That said, I don't know how Australian and Canadian dollars compare right now.

This weekend we attended Freedom Christian Academy's Booster Club Car Show, Fayetteville, NC

It was a small show but we had the pleasure of having a 1967 Ford Mustang Shelby GT-350 parked next to us.

Premium 94 octane no-ethanol fuel in Vancouver right now is $170.9 /litre ?

still working on the 2500 mike challenge though!  Touring a fellow Buick owner from Australia around today.

This morning, I rolled my 1938 Century project around on the four wheel dollies to point it towards the garage door. I drove it out of the garage, down the driveway, into the street to turn it around and, after letting it run for a half hour, I pulled it back into the garage and angled it into the restoration bay pointed in the opposite direction. I was then able to just use two wheel dollies to roll it into position in the restoration space in the back of the garage. I am attaching a photo of the project taken during a similar short drive a few days ago.

I later took my 1937 Century to lunch, and later, to dinner, this evening. I took a photo of the 1937 Century in the driveway after dinner, before backing it into the garage.

We have finally had two days in a row above 60degF here in Mich.  Had the '15 truck out for a short drive today.

I now have the truck back at the home garage.

I took the model 87 to pick up my mom at the airport. 50 minutes of uneventful highway driving.
