Guest tcbpearl
Really not sure if its a radio or not. This came from a estate in the Texas Hill Country. The family established the ranch back in the late 1800's. The kilocycle dial has two knobs which control two wire cables that go inside of box. Looked interesting and old so I took it home for 50.00.Anybody got any ideals as what it is?Thanks, Terry
JFranklin
It was a good find at that price. Yes, it is an AM radio from the 30's. You should be able to easily get double your price from someone needing it
Guest tcbpearl
Yes I was pretty sure that s what it was. Never saw a kilocycle dial. The dial still works. Im guessing if the thing had power it would work , it looks complete.Im thinking 6v system? The truck body parts that sold were to a 1930's something truck. According to family members it did in fact come out of truck.Pretty neat part of Radio History.
