WARNING: Model A owners look away

Recommended Posts

What a shame, if the other side was as good.

Wall art is all that was left of my unit-bodied '59 Peugeot 403, which was ready to dismember because of the tin worm.

It's the perfect parts car for one you found laying on it's left side in a ditch.

Interesting. What is the little statue on the dash of the Model A?

Can't make it out...

Half of a grim reaper ? ;)

I certainly hate to see a restorable car destroyed so I hope that there was massive right side damage that resulted in that work of art. Despite that, I sort of like it. I looked at the rest of the photos in the craigslist ad and I am intrigued by the front tire tread pattern. I have never seen one of those before.

I would bet it was for photos. With the right background it would look real.

That is a knobbie snow tire mounted on the front wheel. They saw a lot of use on dirt track race cars in the 1920's & 30's. Bob

That makes sense... I don't know much about Snow tires living in Southeastern North Carolina.

It's actually 51% (controlling interest?). The crank hole, rad emblem, dash panel, etc are there. I also notice it has a 30-31 headlight and front bumper and the headlight bar has a bracket to bolt to the wall.
