Anyone see the recent news article about the Charlottesville VA couple who bought a 1911 Model T Torpedo in CA and drove it cross country back to Virginia? It's in the Media General newspapers. Neat story.

Haven't seen that story but I drove a '27 Buick standard 6 {my daily driver for 12 years} from New York to Ohio and back in '89 and my old pal Les Cutting drove a 1915 Interstate {now owned by me} all over the east coast from New York to Hershey countless times without complaint.<BR>My Buick took route 30 in Pennsylvania in second gear, although descending the switchbacks was treacherous business, needed a ring job when I got home, smoked like hell! mostly from compression braking I guess.
