Hi together,

i have a nice offer from a Gentleman about 'this' Box. It looks like a '38 one in the pics.

Can anybody of you tell me its realy a '38 ?

From outside it will obvisiously match with my one ,wich is under my Car.

Thanks ahead :)

The torque ball looks different from memory. It doesn't look like it's set up for an enclosed torque tube. Maybe GM, but I don't think it's Buick.

Danny

I have compare it with my one wich is complete instales in my Car .

Its look similar to mine until the lack of the boot.

Thank you for for your fair misgiving .

I enlarged the photo and the casting number matches Dons.

My # are the same exept the last number. My one is 1301637- "4" ,not "2",the rest of the # and the box looks absolutly similar.

Somebody know the differend of the numbers ?

I cant imagin thats there a second plant for this buick boxes, that would build this 1 year only.

Maybe only another shift in that plant ?

any suggestions would be interesting ...

Thanks guys :)

Sorry about that mate,

Seems I need to spend more time around my '38. Poor old girl never really gets looked at.

My New Years resolution is to spend more time on the Buicks.

(Sadly, that was also last years resolution but bloody life keeps getting in the way :) :)

Hope it all turns out well for you Jenz.

Danny
