28pontiac
Hi, we are looking for a very very nice '28 Plymouth for a special 1928 class at the Eyes On Design concours car show held at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford Estate in metro Detroit on Fathers Day, 6-15-14. If you have a '28 and would be interested in coming to the metro Detroit area this summer, please let me know. This is a very cool event, one of the nicest of it's type in the mid-west. You will be sure to have a wonderful time. Bill
Guest DodgeKCL
Post this on http://www.48plymouth.info/28Q29U That site is dedicated to 1928/29 Plymouths. (Site URL is not working by this link but I checked in this morning using my "Favorites" address and all is well at the site. My link address may be missing a character or 2. But the site is there.) 28pontiac
Thank you gentlemen, I will also try with the site you suggested above. Any info is helpful as I would really like a '28 Plymouth for this unique car class since it is the first year Plymouth (historically significant). 28pontiac
Hey Guys, we are still in need of a very nice '28 Plymouth for the Eyes On Design event. Chet and a couple others have put the feelers out, but not much luck. Some of the cars are too far away, some do not have a means of transporting. The WPC Museum has a '28 and has had it at the show once years ago, but tuff financial times makes it tuff to pull cars out right now. So, I can find a Whippet, Durant and Erskine,...but not a Plymouth! This is going to be a nice event this year, and this particular class is going to be very unique... plan to have about 10 cars, ranging from $500-900 when new, displayed in order of pricing....all for one model year! Very cool. Does anyone have any leads, really want a first year Plymouth? Bill
plymouthcranbrook
Have you tried posting here:http://www.plymouthbulletin.com/ The National Plymouth Owners club may be able to help. They do have a forum, although lightly used.
