Dave Mellor NJ 347 Posted January 16, 2014 Share Posted January 16, 2014 If those holes were from a visor somebody did a real butcher job putting it on. By 51 visors were going out of style. The curved windshields didn't lend themselves as well as the straight type but GM kept the split till 52. The better made visors had brackets to attach to the rain gutters and the center molding so you didn't have to drill holes into the roof. After the 52 models of GM and Chrysler and 51 Ford models the windshield was one piece. If you still wanted a visor you had to drill and screw. I think somebody must have gotten a later visor and put it on your car.
