Guest Tusler 49 New Yorker
Thanks for the advice in the forums, I have been reading the old posts and checked some stuff recommended by others. I found the choke was not completely opening up when warm so I adjusted that, and I found the carb was not returning all the way to idle so I stiffened up the spring enough to pull it to idle. Then I adjusted the idle down to the factory spec. and like magic when I took it for a drive the trans was shifting like it was suppose to. I am sure my mileage will improve a little also since the choke is not on all the time.now to fix the hesitation from the green light...Thanks:D
Rusty_OToole
Bravo! And thanks for letting us know what the problem was. It may help someone else down the road, especially if they are smart enough to do a search.
